Following a £15m investment in this high traffic shopping and eating centre which is inside one of UK’s busiest train station “Victoria” Why Media needed to create a joined up approach for the brand and showcase of leading retailers and restaurants. We integrated data capture with the WiFi and web traffic numbers are up over 300% in the last 12 months. We regularly meet with all of the tenants and have defined Victoria Place as a fantastic location to stop and shop!

To deliver an effective Christmas social media campaign for the shopping centre to help highlight the vast offers and drive engagement.

Why Media created two campaigns directed  to help capture an audience who was most likely to engage with the centre.


Social Media Campaigns

The first campaign was a social media competition to find London’s Christmas Jumper Champion. Social media fans were encouraged to share a selfie in their Christmas Jumper, in order to win a hamper of prizes from the tenants, worth over £200. The campaign was a success, with a reach of over 35,000 people and 50 entries in just one week. The second part of the campaign was held everyday in December, when a gift idea was recommended by the Centre Manager.

Details on the store and price were published too, helping to support sales. Overall figures at these stores increased by over 30% with one item selling out completely.
