Despite many challenges, 2020 has seen substantial change at La Marina on the Marketing side. Technology has been embraced through the creation of a new bespoke website, installation of high-speed free WiFi throughout the Centre and new digital wayfinding screens. With the number of social media users worldwide increasing to 3.5 billion in 2020, the importance of building and maintaining a compelling online presence is undeniable. These advances in technology combined with new branding and proactive Social Media campaigns have contributed to the addition of new brands to La Marina, some that have chosen this location to open their very first store in Spain.
