SOCIAL MEDIA SUCCESS AT CENTRO COMERCIAL LA MARINA NOVEMBER 2020

Why Media were appointed to provide Marketing and Digital Media services at La Marina Shopping Centre and Retail Park in January 2020. The implementation of a comprehensive and cohesive marketing and communications strategy has helped and will continue to help enhance customer and retailer engagement and raise the profile of the Shopping Centre and Retail Park.

Before Why Media’s instruction at La Marina, customer engagement across their Social Media platforms was not where Resolute Asset Management expected them to be. Since Why Media’s involvement and delivery of the agreed bespoke Marketing and Digital Media Strategy, the results have been exceptional.

  •  Instagram followers have increased by 71% due to the increase in relevant and visually appealing posts.

  •  Facebook likes have grown by 87% as improved retailer communication means that offers and promotions are regularly updated and promoted.

  •  Newsletter subscribers have risen by a massive 132% due to the improvement of content leading to customers choosing to sign up to the Newsletter to keep updated with La Marina news and exclusive offers.

Despite many challenges, 2020 has seen substantial change at La Marina on the Marketing side. Technology has been embraced through the creation of a new bespoke website, installation of high-speed free WiFi throughout the Centre and new digital wayfinding screens. With the number of social media users worldwide increasing to 3.5 billion in 2020, the importance of building and maintaining a compelling online presence is undeniable. These advances in technology combined with new branding and proactive Social Media campaigns have contributed to the addition of new brands to La Marina, some that have chosen this location to open their very first store in Spain.
