Community relations have reached a new level for Why Media Spain as they secure a key partnership for their flagship Spanish client, Centro Comercial La Marina, with local tourist attraction and entertainment park, Dino Park Algar.
Centro Comercial La Marina, which is located in the heart of Finestrat, Alicante, has been Why Media’s flagship client in Spain since January 2020. The Centre and Retail Park which offers a wide variety of retailers, family-focused restaurants and a popular roof terrace has experienced many of the challenges that other Shopping Centres and Retail Parks has seen during the COVID-19 pandemic however. In recent months the Centre and Retail Park have undergone significant improvements with a complete rebrand, new signage suite installed and now, is enjoying an excellent collaboration with Dino Park Algar thanks to the hard work of Why Media Spain.
Dino Park Algar is a popular family attraction which is located in Callosa d'en Sarrià, close to both Finestrat and Benidorm. The park hosts a number of activities including life-size robotic dinosaurs, educational facts and activities, a children’s paddling pool, playground and a 3D cinema, making it a very popular destination for tourists and residents of the area.

Part of Why Media’s role at Centro Comercial La Marina is to raise the profile of the Centre and Retail Park to local businesses, tourist attractions and hotels in a bid to create partnerships focused around joint objectives. We are delighted to have secured this exciting partnership with Dino Park who have installed several life-like dinosaurs within the Shopping Centre and Retail Park for visitors to have their picture taken and enjoy. From the moment they were installed on Monday 31st August, we have seen queues of children and adults waiting to see them. In addition, we have also agreed to give shoppers at Centro Comercial La Marina discounted rates on park tickets and, we will be giving away family tickets between now and the end of November when the dino exhibition ends.”
