The Malthouse Pontefract: A New Collaboration with FitzWilliam Capital Partners

   NEWS / 13 Nov 2018

October saw Why Media embark on a new collaboration with Fitzwilliam Capital Partners, an experienced property development company located in Manchester.

Following the launch of their latest development, ‘The Malthouse’ in Pontefract, West Yorkshire, Fitzwilliam Capital Partners were seeking an experienced agency who could design and deliver a bespoke website for the scheme in a very short time frame.

The brief was to design a website that positioned ‘The Malthouse’ as a promising investment opportunity for those looking to get on to the property ladder and for investors looking for strong returns.

Carl Piper, Website Developer at Why Media comments: ‘As one of my first start-finish projects since joining Why Media in September, I was excited to jump on board to develop a state of the art, Google friendly site for ‘The Malthouse’. In addition to the short time frame the site did have a number of challenges like incorporating existing CGI content as opposed to real imagery or video, which can instantly change the impact of a website. That said, we overcame this obstacle by integrating a subtle yet impactful video to the homepage, giving a modest movement.’
