Optiva Securities Launch A New Website

With a collaboration spanning over five years, Why Media is very pleased to announce the launch of Optiva Securities’ new website.




The decision to redesign and develop the new site came following the rapid growth of Optiva Securities as they focused on delivering innovative financing solutions to high growth companies, not only in the UK but across the globe from Madagascar and Singapore to the Republic of Ireland.

Although the previous website, also created by Why Media, was fully functioning and modern, Christian Dennis, Chief Executive and Head of Corporate Broking at Optiva Securities, had a vision to expand and reposition the website in line with the evolution of the company. During this time, Why Media saw a strong opportunity to integrate new features and technology which would enhance user experience and position Optiva Securities’ website as a market leader within their space.

Claire White, Account Director for Why Media comments; “We are very proud of our relationship with Christian and the Optiva Securities team and therefore wanted to create a market leading website that was functional and easy to navigate but also benefited from innovative technology and new features. During this phase we also evolved the identity by integrating ‘The Global Investor’. This small adaptation has seen ultimate impact for the guys and now moves Optiva into the ‘large player’ category within the marketplace. Our close relationship has also seen us complete over 15 other projects with Optiva Securities and we are now the chosen partner of choice for pre-IPO companies looking to set up their branding, website and emails. Collaborations include Vale International Group plc, LAN Group plc, Tirupati Graphite, Asiamet Resources plc and recently listed United Oil and Gas plc.

The new website benefits from key features such as recent transactions, showing Optiva’s vast collection of corporate clients and an integrated live stock ticker to showcase up to the minute stock prices and a dedicated client area. The site also compliments Optiva Securities’ active social media presence with an integrated Twitter feed and clear quick links to their Facebook and LinkedIn accounts (Social media managed by Why Media).

One month on from the website going live, we have already experienced a 7% rise in overall website traffic, with an average dwell time of just under two minutes - over double the industry average!

Why Media were delighted to launch the new brand identity and website for ACAI Group, a property investment company with a number of high profile commercial, retail and land assets across the UK.

These assets include 8-10 Grafton Street in Mayfair, The Heart Shopping Centre in Walton-on-Thames Surrey and, the flagship store for high-end retail brand Dior on the prestigious Bond Street. The objective of the branding and creative element of this project was to inject colour, depth and a story behind the brand identity and overall messaging of ACAI (the initials of which represent the three owners of the company). Following completion of the branding process, Why Media delivered a full stationery package including business cards, letterheads and compliment slips and a comprehensive set of brand guidelines, ensuring the brand identity and reputation are protected through a stringent set of ‘brand rules’.
