On Friday 6th May 2016, Why Media was delighted to attend Strictly Razzmatazz, a black tie charity dinner in aid of the NSPCC Peterborough.
The event, which is the four of its kind was held at the Holiday Inn Peterborough. The event was organised by the NSPCC Peterborough Business Support Group and sponsored by Buckles Solicitors and Why Media’s client Larkfleet Group, and was a complete sell out for the four year running!
During the 2015 event, Strictly Dance Fever, over £24,000 was raised for the NSPCC Peterborough thanks to the generosity of guests, most of which were local business owners, residents and employees of the sponsors.
With such a high target to beat, a whole host of activities were laid on by the organisers including a raffle to win a Mulberry handbag, auction, raffle and the chance to have your photograph taken with celebrity guests.
Due to the consistent dancing theme, the Strictly Razzamatazz event welcomed a host of celebrity guests including twice X Factor hopeful Nicole Lawrence, who sang a collection of well known upbeat songs to guests during their three course dinner, and Strictly Come Dancing favourites Anton Du Beke and Erin Boag who wowed guests with three amazing dance performances.
In the spirit of charity fundraising, Anton and Erin also encouraged guests to give as much as they could to this amazing cause by auctioning themselves for one dance. In total, they raised a further £1,500 for the NSPCC Peterborough.

Why Media think that the NSPCC offer a priceless service to vulnerable children and knowing that all proceeds of Fridays event go to those in need within the local area is comforting.”
Why Media, alongside their clients Larkfleet Group and O&H Group were more than happy to donate to this cause, offering afternoon tea for two at Sketch London, which raised over £350!
