Napier Parking maintained a brand identity and website that failed to reflect the growth of the business over the last few years As Parking is a sensitive subject for patrons and town/city cores, Why Media undertook extensive research to understand the target groups and ensure that new branding strategies would help locate parking for people entering busy spaces.
We created an eye catching design concept for the website, by introducing a grey and gold colour palette into the site, we created a luxury, sophisticated feel, suitable for the location and profile asset locations. Additionally, our photographer created a new and improved image library. To ensure the website content was optimised in the best way and to prompt the installation of updates, we utilised a content management system.
To design a bold brand identity that represents the business as a professional and dynamic company. To create a website that showcases Napier Parking’s core services, and provide an efficient, straightforward/direct way of paying for a fixed penalty notice, such as, via a computer, mobile or tablet device.
After researching and reviewing the brand, we created a story and principal behind Napier Parking. During the project, a number of aspects were taken into consideration - the ability to recognise the brand, the competitor market and the placement of the identity from a business card to a car park sign.
The objective of this website differed from others in our portfolio, as functionality and ease of use were more important than aesthetics. The new site featured responsive technology and an open-source content management system, enabling website updates to be undertaken internally.
As a result of our work, the site is easily accessible and paying for parking via mobile devices is quick and simple!
